My father bought me a camera when I was eight. Since then, photography has been my foremost passion. What made me unique? I have art background. I went to High School of Art and Design in New York City then I went to New York Institute of Technology to obtain a BFA, majoring in graphic design with a minor in photography. I used both of my skills in art and photography together.
I have been a photographer on and off for over 25 years. Almost three years ago, I discovered a sports photography niche and I fell in love with capturing actions. I have photoshoot soccer, field hockey, water polo, track & field, tennis, golf, surfing, basketball, softball, baseball, swimming & diving, cycling, bowling, volleyball, ice hockey, lacrosse, and many more. I have been trained by top-notch professional photographers from all over the country and I am forever grateful to have met them.
The highlight of my photography career was when I was chosen to be a Team Photographer for the Deaflympics in Taiwan from August 2009 to September 2009 in a scorching weather. Yes, in a scorching weather I would definitely do it again!
I am currently a freelance sports photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I bilingual in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, I am hard of hearing. If you want me to do some work for you, I am available and would be up for it. Outside of sports photography, I have photographed weddings, portraits, architectures, foods and headshots for clients. In my free time I like to fly a small plane, read, play scrabble, and travel.
